THE JMR STORY
Jason Manke founded JMR in 2020 after being sidelined due to COVID. Having solid business connections and a great support network, they convinced him that the solution was to continue to do what he does best - and share it with other business owners and executives.
Today JMR utilizes some of the nation's best HR professionals and recruiters to provide a complete human resource solution for all business sizes.
Jason cut his teeth in human resources with Kalahari Resorts & Conventions almost a decade ago. He quickly moved through the company, serving in many roles such as: human resources manager, training manager, director of learning and talent, director of culture and employment, and director of corporate recruiting.
Jason developed and implemented the University of Kalahari at the company’s four large waterpark resort properties, where over 4,000 associates are exposed to over 60 different training opportunities.
Jason transitioned into recruitment when Kalahari was getting ready to expand. He had excelled at college recruitment and was ready to build a leadership team. It was easy to see that by reinvesting in people that have learned and developed culture, anything is possible. Jason has carried the belief to this day, that understanding business culture is the single most important piece to effective recruitment and retention.
His last few years recruiting for Kalahari were spent in managing the day-to-day efforts of local hiring managers at various resorts, while attracting managers, directors, executives and corporate team members.
With the size of the teams, with the number of disciplines and arenas Jason has recruited for, he is comfortable with any type of business size and any level of hire.
Jason enjoys golf, travel and time spent with four kids.
